the sketchbook project

Thanks to a fellow deviant a few months ago (can't remember her name!) I am able to participate in ArtHouseCo-Op's SketchBook Library project for this year. It's an awesome endevor and it's not too late to participate. They have extended the deadline for sign-up due to high volume requests. Here's the link if you're interested: [link]
I got my moleskine sketchbook in the mail yesterday!

And thanks to another fellow deviant here, I got word of this amazing sculptureress named Elizabeth McGrath. Her work is so macabre and beautiful, you just have to check out her stuff here:[link] I'm particularly fond her marine weasels sculpture :)

hello all, i'm raven jones-aspiring artist.

I am currently enrolled at Bossier Parish Community College in order to earn enough credits to be able to transfer to Louisiana State University in Shreveport; where I will major in graphic design and earn my BA degree.

in the meanwhile, I freelance. And I plan on volunteering at local art galleries, maybe apprenticing as a tatt artist at a local shop, participating in local art shows, gaining an internship at a local ad agency, etc. in turn, i hope this gets me the networking i need in order to gain prospective clients and close contacts.
